Grandale Place Entrance

Welcome to Grandale Place — A Hidden Gem in South Durham!

Tucked away in the scenic southern corner of Durham, NC, Grandale Place is a warm and inviting neighborhood where community truly feels like home. Since the first home was built in 2000, our community has grown to include 136 beautiful family residences.

One of the things residents love most about Grandale Place is its natural beauty. Our neighborhood is surrounded by lush, undeveloped green space that offers a peaceful welcome as you enter. Towering hardwood trees and shaded, tree-lined streets make walking, biking, or strolling with your pup a daily pleasure. We even have a playground for the little ones and convenient waste stations for our four-legged friends.

Our neighborhood is supported by a dedicated five-member Homeowners Association (HOA) Board. They help keep our common spaces well-maintained and ensure our community standards reflect the care we all share for Grandale Place.

Want to get involved? We’d love that! Whether it’s planning fun events like our annual ice cream social or National Night Out celebration through the Social Committee, or helping shape the look and feel of the neighborhood on the Architectural Committee, there are lots of ways to make a difference. We also have a strong Neighborhood Watch program and take pride in being a positive part of the wider Durham community.

Homeowners are encouraged to stay connected by registering for community announcements, newsletters, and easy online dues payments. You can also step up as a block captain or join one of our active committees.
